He has since set himself the goal of travelling the world on a bike.Heading North is part of that objective.
Anwar is passionate about social and ecological challenges and has incorporated various social and environmental causes into his Global Motorcycle Tour.
Uwe Schmidt is a 58yr old, experienced adventure biker.
He raced motocross and superbikes from a young age.
He has travelled Africa extensively over the past few years on a bike, with the longest trip 52,000kms over 12months.
He has a deep affection for animals and has a special ability to interact with wildlife.
